How a snowball started rolling
Snobol grew out of one couple's decision to stop performing success and start building it — one disciplined contribution at a time.
A "successful" young couple, net worth zero
The future founders of Snobol met in the summer of 2005 at an economics camp. Over the years that followed, one of them launched a string of small businesses — some of them genuinely successful — yet money had a way of quietly disappearing into new ventures, loan repayments, and a lifestyle that grew with every raise. When they married in the summer of 2011 they looked the part of a thriving young couple: small-company stakes, new cars, a modern home. On paper, their true net worth sat at roughly zero — the banks owned most of it. Living inside that gap between appearance and reality slowly wore them down.

A life-changing decision
On 5 August 2013 — their second wedding anniversary — things reached a breaking point. They founded an investment company with just €3,000 and made three promises to themselves: clear every debt, cut their living costs sharply, and stop performing a success they had not actually earned. From that day, they chose to live honestly rather than impressively.
From three thousand to three hundred thousand
Investing around €3,000 a month into quality real estate created a surprising, compounding momentum. Six years of consistent contributions and disciplined decisions grew their capital roughly a hundredfold — most of it not from luck, but from their own steady input, reinvested again and again. The snowball had started to roll on its own.

Far more powerful together
Investing alone has a ceiling. When you do not yet have enough capital for the next opportunity, money sits idle and waits. They realised the snowball rolls faster when people who share the goal of financial freedom pool their effort — and so they decided to open the door to others.
A real-estate fund with no management fees
They built Snobol as a fund with no annual management fee — only a 10% share of the profits, paid when partners do well. Alongside it, they began writing publicly about the mindset and habits behind financial freedom, so the philosophy could reach far beyond a single family.

The dream
The goal is simple, and large: to help as many people as possible reach financial independence — to live the lives they genuinely want, and to feel real peace about their money.
